GARDEN FURNITURE PARASOLS Parasols Canopies Kit Stone’s garden furniture parasol canopies are made from Duratex 55 which is rot resistant under normal circumstances. Our garden furniture parasols have been tested to have a UV protection rating of 4 out of 5 and so will offer you great protection from the sun. However they will not offer complete protection and the usual precautions should be taken. Should your canopy become dirty it is possible to wash it on a 30oC wash. We would recommend that you should fit the canopy back to the frame and raise this when the canopy is still drying to prevent it from shrinking. Please note that washing the canopy may in extreme circumstances affect it’s colour. DO NOT USE THE PARASOL OR LEAVE THE PARASOL OUT IN WINDY CONDITIONS AS THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR PROPERTY AND THE PARASOL
Parasol Frames In order to prevent damage to the parasol frame care should be taken when lifting and raising the parasol. If any resistance is met, then it may be because the rope is tangled around the frame, so please do not continue pulling blindly, but investigate any snagging. Rope To tidy the rope away we suggest wrapping around the pole as below: 1. Pull the rope tight down and hold against the pole. 2. Wrap the rope around itself. 3. Continue to wrap around and upwards keeping tight to create a spiral of rope. 4. Finally tuck the end in tight at the top to secure.
